⚠️ Important Safety Notice

Backcountry skiing, ski touring, and snowshoeing are inherently dangerous activities. Routes displayed on Snow Traces may include avalanche terrain, cliffs, and other hazards. GPS tracks do not account for changing conditions, snowpack stability, or individual skill levels.

You are solely responsible for:

  • Assessing avalanche conditions and terrain before any tour
  • Carrying appropriate safety equipment (beacon, shovel, probe)
  • Having the necessary skills, fitness, and experience
  • Making your own decisions about route safety
  • Checking current weather and snow conditions

Snow Traces and its users provide route information for inspiration only. Never rely solely on GPS tracks for navigation or safety decisions.
